THE SAN ANGELO Museum of Fine Arts invites the community to celebrate our Nation's 250th anniversary with Art & Independence, SAMFA's annual July 3rd fundraiser honoring the memories of museum patrons and former Board Presidents, Sonny Cleere and Frank Rose. Guest will enjoy an indoor BBQ and ice cream party, the popular Steak of the Arts Cookoff, and one of the best views in San Angelo as they watch the spectacular fireworks display from the Museum's rooftop terrace overlooking the Concho River. The event also features the annual Steak of the Arts Cookoff Competition, whee local grill teams compete for bragging rights and the title of Steak of the Arts champion. COmmunity members interested in participating may register a grill team in advance. Seating is limited, and advance reservations are encouraged.
