SAMFA'S CHAMBER Music Series presents A Valentine Tango performed by Tango Llaneros. The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts presents the Chamber Music Series featuring A Valentine Tango by Tango Llaneros, Sunday February 15 fro 3pm to 5pm in the Grand Hall of the Museum. A sultry, Valentine's Day - inspired evening of Argentine Tango Music featuring the dramatic sounds of the Bandoneon and Strings. Featuring Charles Oliveier, Bandoneon; Catherine Olivier, Violin ; Jesus Fuentes, Piano; and Laura Camacho, Double Bass. The Mission Tango Llaneros is to not only provide high quality live tango music but to educate the community on the traditions and history of Argentine Tango Music. With their passion for education, they provide presentation concerts and seminars to high school and collegiate level students. Outside of the classroom, Tango Llaneros provides various performances for music festivals and chamber series. They believe that to make a better tango music scene in the United States, they must start with educational programs in schools so that students can learn what tango music is and what is capable through it. Admission is $15 General Admission, $8 Seniors and Military, free to students. Season passes can be purchased for $84. Tickets can be purchased here and in the SAMFA Gift Shop.
